Parque National Tinfunke
Parque National Tinfunke is part of the Tentative list of Paraguay in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Parque National Tinfunke' (Tinfunqué) protects the humid Chaco ecosystem. It is an important fauna refuge for jaguar, tapir and maned wolf. The area is irrigated by the Pilcomayo river. It is also a RAMSAR site, important for aquatic birds.
